It typically happens due to the heat of spring and summer weather that can damage electronic appliances including refrigerators, freezers, air-conditioners, etc. This season also affects the exterior of houses such as the yard and garden but also includes windows, roofs, gutters, and doors.

1. For Interior Maintenance
- Make sure there are no frayed wires or loose-fitting plugs in your electrical outlets. Check to see that outlets and fuse boxes are not overloaded.
- Check the expiration date of fire extinguishers and keep it in the kitchen, or at least in the same place all the time.
- Get the air-conditioner examined by a reliable and professional technician
- Test your water heater for any leaks and corrosion
- Clean the clothes dryer’s exhaust duct and the space under the dryer. Clean out all lint.
- Change all high-intensity bulbs; replace them with energy efficient bulbs when possible.
